Notice to Foreign Nationals
Pershing General Hospital is located in Lovelock, Nevada, USA.  A person or persons at an unknown location have been preying on physicians and presumably others from other countries, most notably India, by representing themselves as Pershing General Hospital in the United Kingdom.  In order to add credibility to their fraudulent activities, they are using our legitimate hospital and referring to our website. 

On one occasion the person or persons attempted to solicit £12,000 from a physician in India by fraudulently claiming that Pershing General Hospital was expanding by building a clinic in the UK and needed funds to do so. 

On another occasion, they forward an offer of employment to another physician in India with an attached contract.  One stipulation was that the physician must book his transportation and visa application with a specific agency in London, which is an obvious ploy for the physician to send funds for the required passage and visa fees, which would most likely never appear.

I am advising you to be very cautious of solicitations for funds, or offers of employment at Pershing General Hospital, through means that is not know to you, or which you have not originated.  If you would like to determine if a a solicitation or offer of employment is legitimate, you may do so by contacting me Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Standard Time.
